What is the origin of the name?
TACN” (pronounced Tack-un) embodies the idea of a company that continues to Challenge Actively as a Team.
Why a rabbit?
TACN is inspired by the European rabbit, known for its excellent digging ability—an animal perfectly suited to represent our underground-related technologies.
What is its charm point?
Its large, round tail is definitely one of its cutest features. And if you look closely, you'll see that its paw pads are actually shaped like the TAC logo.
Secret ①
Inside the tail is a tank that holds the Backfill Grout Injection Material produced at our plant. The carrot-shaped part works as the cap.
Secret ②
Inside TACN's tail is a small shovel used for tunnel excavation. It's made from the same type of superalloy used for the cutter bits on shield machines.
Secret ③
The Uragome Shooter is a water-gun-style device that can spray Backfill Grout Injection Material. It's colored like TACN's favorite food—carrots!

Remove the cap from the tail tank and insert the hose.

Secure the Uragome Shooter so the Backfill Grout Injection Material won't leak. Once TACN holds it, the injection setup is ready!

TACN takes position with the shovel—excavation standby! Material is fed from the tail tank to support the tunneling work.
