Clay-Shock Injection

“Non-curing filler” – Clay Shock is being used in more applications day by day.

What is Clay Shock?

Clay Shock is a highly viscous filler lubricant of about 300 to 500dPa. It is produced by mixing Clay sand,TAC-β,(βⅡ) solution and waterglass TAC-3G. Clay Shock incorporates the following features:

*It has fluidity so works very well with respect to overcut under pressurized injection.
*High viscosity, high enough clogging effect even with large clearance ground, with high stability of over the excavated area.
*Even when filling an actively excavated area, the backfilled Clay Shock material does not affect the shield machine.
*Adhesive strength and shear resistant force are less than ground, creating an effect of reducing the frictional resistance of the outer periphery of the shield machine.
